That’s a Wrap - 2025-2026 Programs

The Burlington Garden Club welcomes members and community guests to learn about a variety of gardening, design, and environmental topics. A summary of the awesome 2025-2026 programs is below. Refer to the 2026-2067 Events calendar for exciting upcoming programs.

August 28, 2025 - “Ecological Gardening: Soil, Native Plants and New Ways to Garden” with Charlie Nardozzi. Charlie shared his vast knowledge of native plants and gardening tips that included No Dig Gardening.

September 23, 2025 - “Designing for a Colorful Life” with April Cornell. A members only event, April Cornell invited BGC members to a tour of her beautiful property.








October 28, 2025 - “Tips for Growing Great Flowers Including Old Favorites and Lesser Known Beauties” with Henry Homeyer. - The Gardening Guy. Henry

discussed flowers that do well in Vermont and explained how to succeed with them.

February 24, 2026 - “Creating Biodiverse Gardens and Landscapes” with Denise A. Greene. Denise Greene and Melissa Jordan from Pollinator Pathway of Lamoille County shared a talk and slide show with resources on planting public and private pesticide-free corridors of native plants that provide nutrition and habitat for pollinating insects and birds. March 24, 2026 - “Land Conservation, Land Use” with Isaac Bissell, Conservation Stewardship Director - Isaac, the Vermont Conservation Stewardship Director from the Vermont Housing & Conservation Board, spoke about his role within the organization and his work across the Vermont landscape.

April 28, 2026 - “Classic Meets Creative” with Judy Gray. Judy, a leading award-winning floral designer, created three on-the-floor floral designs which were auctioned off at the end of the program.
